Event Notes and Attachments

Event Notes and Attachments provide a way to store and communicate pertinent details about the event.  An example of an event note might be that show organizers are offering free wifi, or the first day of cleaning is included in the booth rental price.  Examples for attachments include floor plans, contracts and other related documents.

The Notes area is a grid under an event's detail area:

Add a Note

To create a note for an Event:

  1. Open the event record.
  2. From the Detail sub menu option, choose "Notes" in the left navigation menu.
  3. Click "Add New" in the lower right hand corner of the Notes grid.
  4. Enter a subject and description and then enter any details in the body of the note.

Delete a Note

To delete a note:

  1. Open the event record.
  2. From the Detail sub menu option, choose "Notes" in the left navigation menu.
  3. Find the note to delete and click "Delete" in that note's row. 
  4. A dialog confirming the delete appears.  Click "Yes".

Create an Attachment

To create an attachment for an Event:

  1. Open the event record.
  2. From the Detail sub menu option, choose "Attachments" in the left navigation menu.
  3. Click "Add New" in the lower right hand corner of the Attachments grid.
  4. Enter a subject and then browse for the file to attach- your file should not exceed 10MB. Try to compress your files as much as possible. 
  5. Click "Save".

If the Subject field of an attachment is left blank, the Subject field will be saved with the name of the attachment itself.

Delete an Attachment

To create an attachment for an Event:

  1. Open the event record.
  2. From the Detail sub menu option, choose "Attachments" in the left navigation menu.
  3. Find the note to delete and click "Delete" in that attachment's row. 
  4. A dialog confirming the delete appears.  Click "Yes".
