Contacts Under an Exhibitor

Introduction

The Contacts menu option under a company is accessed from the left hand navigation menu.  Selecting it presents a grid of all contacts connected to that company:

 

The grid behaves just as the main Contacts grid does as explained in this help topic: Contacts.  However, it offers one additional menu option which allows the user to merge two different people into one when there is a duplicate. See the next section for how this works.

Merge Contacts

 The Merge Contacts option sits above the grid:

Note: This is controlled by a Security Role Setting.  If you do not see Merge Contacts above your grid, contact your System Administrator if you need access. 

Follow these steps to merge contacts together:

  1. Select one winner in the "W" column, and check the remaining losing contacts as the "L".
  2. Click "Merge Contacts" at the top of the grid
  3. A dialog appears confirming merge:
  4. If there are no errors, a message appears letting you know the merge was successful.

The merge will combine the contacts' orders and payments on file across all events.
