BoomerPlan Overview

With Boomer’s Interactive Floor Planner Add-On called BoomerPlan, you can allow your customers to request placement of specific products, such as electrical outlets, internet outlets, or heavier furniture items as part of the storefront checkout process. 

Configuration

After purchasing a subscription, we’ll work with you to identify and configure the products you want to be laid out on a floor plan (note these options are not available until your subscription is activated):

Summary

When a customer orders one or more items that need placement, the Floor Planner becomes part of the checkout process. The user drags and drops the items on the floor planner and then continues to checkout process as usual:

Attachments

After the customer submits his/her order, the floor plan becomes an attachment in the order:

Work Order Inclusion

The floor plan can be included on printed work orders by editing the attachment and turning on the "Include on Work Order" check mark:

Accessing the Floor Plan

When you run a work order report, your floor plan will be included.

Email Triggers

If you have an email trigger set up with a notification when attachments are submitted, an email notification will fire off.

Pricing

The Interactive Floor Planner is an Add-On to the core Boomer product. Fees are based on tiers just like your subscription. The first year’s subscription will be prorated to align with your contract’s anniversary date.
