- Click "Direct Ship" from the main menu, making sure you are in the event you want to be in:

Fill in the Carrier and Product and then hit "Next" to continue:

| Exhibitor | You can scroll thru the exhibitor list or search for a company name by typing in the name. The results will automatically rise to the top of the list as you type the letters and the Boomer works to find a match. You can also do a search by Booth or Contact by clicking on either of those buttons and then typing in a number or name, respectively. If you don't see the exhibitor, you can add one "on the fly" by clicking the gray plus button next to the exhibitor field (note the address is optional). |
| Order Contact | Will auto-populate if this information is in Boomer. Otherwise, click the gray button to the right of the field to add one. |

4. Exhibitor Address will default in if there is one. An address here is not required to move on.
5. Shipment

| Shipment Type | touch to choose Crated/Skidded, Special Handling, or Uncrated. This is another required field. |
Touch the blank Tracking Number field to highlight it (it will turn yellow to indicate it is in focus). It is now time to scan the label. On the side of the device, press the second large button on the left or right side. A red light will appear to indicate the scanner is ready. Point the red light at the bar code on your label. It will beep to indicate the scan was successful (if sound is on):

| Location | this is an optional field but useful if you stage your freight in a particular way in your warehouse. you could enter a zone identifier here. Are you storing freight directly on trailers? You can enter a trailer number here. |
| Notes | Tap button to open the notes field. Click Save to go back. |
| Photos | Tap button. Click NEW to activate the camera. Tap the camera icon to snap the photo. Touch the checkmark when done. You can take multiple photos and they will all appear as thumbnails. Touch SAVE when you are done and to leave this screen. |
| Save | You have completed this shipment and the screen resets with a blank Tracking Number Field. |
YOU ARE STILL ON THE CARRIER YOU FIRST SELECTED. YOU ARE STILL ON THE EXHIBITOR YOU CHOSE. This is intentional, as you may have more than one piece to scan for this exhibitor’s shipment. Boomer will know to combine like pieces into one shipment. Therefore, it’s important to organize your freight before you start scanning. Make sure multiple pieces for an exhibitor are together.
If you are finished with this exhibitor, but still have additional advance shipments to enter for this carrier, touch the Menu icon (3 Dots in the upper right corner) and select FINISH EXHIBITOR.
YOU WILL STILL BE IN THE CARRIER YOU SELECTED.
7. If you are finished entering all the shipments for this carrier, select FINISH VEHICLE. You will be brought back to the Carrier/Product screen where you can select your next carrier.
