Content

Introduction

If you've used Boomer's legacy store before, you're most likely familiar with the idea of "Forms".  Forms allowed you to provide PDFs or simply pages of content relevant to an event.  Event Content has all the features Forms allowed and much more.  It is a powerful tool to help you organize the information you want to provide your customers for each event.  Content can be copied in and re-used from event to event, or created as unique content for a single event.

Configuration

Users with a Store Administrator role can establish the main menu content menu categories as well as the sub menu content categories.  Then, at the event level, Content entries can be assigned to one or more of those categories. If you are a Store Administrator looking to configure or rename your Content menus, see Store 2.0 Content Menu Configuration.

Access Event Content

The Event Content menu is accessed from the event's dark blue sub menu:

Copy Content from Another Event

You can copy in content from any other event you have previously set up.  This might include an event that simply holds different pages of content but isn't a "real" event, or it might be an event you already have set up the content for.

To copy content from another event:

  1. Click on "Copy Content from Another Event" at the top of the Event Content grid.
  2. Use the Event Picklist to enter search criteria to find the event you want.
  3. Click "Apply Criteria".
  4. Look for the event you want to copy from on the left side, and click >> or double click on the event itself to move it over to the right side.
  5. Click Apply Selection.

You will now see the entries copied in from the event you selected.  These are now independent and related to this event only and can be modified or deleted as you see fit.
