When customers are presented with an invoice, payment is proven to be faster when a customer is presented with an easy way to pay it. If you're using Quick Pay, this article will cover how you can present your customers with either a link or QR Code to the Quick Pay link for an event so you can get your payment settled, well --quickly!
All link methods below assume that the event meets the criteria for Quick Pay being enabled. For more information, see Enabling Secure Quick Pay in an Event.
Via Email
Use either an email campaign or send an email via the Contacts grid (see Contacts) using Boomer's standard "Pay Now" template. A sample of the template can be found here: E-Mail Template Samples.
Via An Email Invoice
Invoices sent via email will also have a "Pay Now" option underneath the grand total:
Via Link An Printed Invoice
For an email that is printed and on paper, the customer cannot click on a link, but they can type one in. A printed invoice will display the exact link the customer needs in order to get to the Quick Pay option:
Via a QR Code An Printed Invoice
To reduce the odds of the customer typing in the wrong URL in the method above, you can additionally provide a QR Code to present that same link. To do this, simply generate a QR code with the Quick Pay link (see QR Code Generator for Secure Quick Pay) and then add it as an attachment within the event. As long as the name contains "QR", it will display on the invoice in addition to the link:
The QR code file attachment in the event displays on the printed invoice as shown below:
