Boomer provides several standard e-mail templates that allow you to provide access to your storefront as well as communicate at key points of an event. As with any Boomer feature, we do from time to time update these template with new available functionality, so it is best to avoid customization of any template so that you can benefit from future enhancements. If you do request customization of any of the templates, it becomes unmanageable to weave in your custom requests with future template enhancements. It is possible to create specialized e-mail templates for a specific purpose but it requires someone on your staff to be familiar with HTML. It is critical to get the format and content in an e-mail friendly format capable of being read by all e-mail applications in order to avoid having your message end up in spam.
New Customer Login
The New Customer Login message is the email a customer will get if you click "Create Login" in his/her contact row in a Contacts grid:
Password Reset - Customer
The Password Reset - Customer message is the email a user will get if you click "Reset Password" in his/her contact row in a Contacts grid:
Lockout Notification - Customer
If your customer attempts to log in but is unsuccessful, they will eventually be locked out. The number of attempts allowed is defined in Security. The following email is automatically sent, with the highlighted yellow number of minutes pulled from the Security area:
Ordering Open - Customer Is New and Needs a Temporary Password
