Events
A new field called Event Sub Type allows you to designate an event with the type of business it represents:
The available list of Event Sub types are controllable in the Store Configuration\Keywords area. If you need assistance in setting this up, please reach out to support@tellingstone.com.
The field is available for filtering and grouping in the following reports: Revenue Summary, Event Export. If you would like to see it added to other reports, drop us a note!
Storefront (Store 2.0)
We continue to migrate customers to the new storefront experience (we call it Store "2.0"). If you have not yet seen the highlights, please watch this very brief video:

If you are interested in getting on the schedule for migration, please reach out to support@tellingstone.com.
New features in this release are all related to Store 2.
- Any contact flagged as a main contact within an event has the ability to see an exhibitor's orders under "My Orders" when logged in.
Orders
- An order attachment has a new check box that determines whether the attachment is visible to the customer on the storefront. It defaults to being unchecked:
- When using "Deposit Withdrawal" as a payment method in an order, the deposit amount available for withdrawal appears in the drop down:
Bills of Lading
- Steps 3, 4 and 5 do not default to any value on the storefront when a customer is completing the outbound bill of lading form.
- When "Reroute" is selected, a drop down field appears where the user can choose the desired reroute service. The defaults include: Ground, Next Day, 2nd Day and 3rd Day, but you may add more values in the Keyword area "Bill of Lading Service Keywords" type. For help on adding additional keywords, see Keywords.
- An email address has been added to the Step 1 area. It prints on the bill of lading in the "Ship From" section of the printed BOL.
- Address fields and an email address field has been added to the "Who Will Pay" section. It defaults to the exhibitor's address but may be changed. The address prints in the "Bill Charges To" section of the printed BOL.
Companies and Contacts
- Three new fields have been added to the company record and the contact record for use with cross referencing external systems (Salesforce, for example). They include: External Organization ID, External Contact ID and External Campaign Opt Out. They have also been added to the following reports: Exhibitor Contact Export - Single Event, Customer List, Exhibitor Contact Export - Single Event, Exhibitor Export, Order Export.
- When adding a card on file at the contact level, a validator now checks to be sure the credit card type matches the card number (4 for Visa, 5 for Mastercard for example). If the type does not match the card number, the user will receive an error.
Email Templates
Email templates have a new checkbox called "Is Active". This will allow you to "retire" any older templates that are no longer needed but were used in past campaigns (and therefore cannot be deleted):
There is also a filter at the top of the list of email templates to view both active and inactive templates if you ever need to get to inactive ones.
Reports
New Reports
- Exhibitor Signs - 1 Per 11 x 17" Paper.
- Shipments Grid (run from within the Shipments grid by clicking "Run a Report"). It prints the same content as is displayed in the online Shipments grid:
Changes to Existing Reports
- Pavilion has been added as an available Group By option on the Pull List report.
- The attachment portion of Work Order - Show Management (Landscape) report has been made larger.
- The Freight Manifest report can now be grouped by Booth Location in addition to Storage Location.
- The Event Export report has new columns in the "All Events - No Shipping Details" view to indicate whether the event is Store 2 enabled, and whether the Quick Pay flag has been enabled.
Other Report Changes
Excel 2003 (.xls) and Word 2003 (.doc) export options are now available from within the Reports export menu:
Other
- Three new fields have been added to support cross referencing Boomer with external systems. They include: External Contact ID, External Organization ID, and an External Campaign Opt Out checkbox. The ID fields are designed to hold a value of an ID in a system such as Salesforce. The third is a check box at the event level designed to control whether the contact has opted out of mailings in the external system. NOTE: The External Campaign Opt Out does not control opting out of Boomer campaigns.
- Files with the extension .ai may now be uploaded in the images directory accessed through the storefront as an admin user.
- The quality of attachments rendered when a work order is printed has been improved.
