The Shipments Grid

The idea behind shipments and the freight functionality is that an Admin user creates what are called shipments that represent the freight you are receiving from exhibitors.  Those shipments represent the weight, contents, shipper and carrier and other details.  Shipments themselves do not hold the charges for the material handling; instead they are connected to order and, based on the details provided in the shipment, create an order item representing the total charges for an exhibitor.

Tip

You will not be able to add shipments until your shipment types have been configured by Telling Stone.  To see a brief video on what this configuration entails, click here.

To access shipments for an event, click on the Shipments sub menu option within an event:

The contents of the Shipments grid is as follows:

The grid has the same functionality as other Boomer grids, with the ability filter, sort or select multiple shipments by clicking the check box in the far left hand column.
