When an order is created or modified, a payment needs to be processed to collect or refund the appropriate funds. The types of available payments are determined in Global Settings under Payment Configuration.
Regardless of the types of payments available, an unlimited number of payments may be applied to an order. This provides the ultimate in flexibility for the customer.
